NANO BROWS
WHAT IS A NANO BROW?
Nano brows is a microblading alternative that uses a machine with fine needles to create hair-like strokes resulting in a hyper-realistic brow.
WHO IS NANO BROWS GOOD FOR?
Suitable for all brow and skin types, including oily, and mature skin. At Beauclair Studio, I customize every nano brow to your unique features. Sparse, uneven, or overplucked brows, this technique builds natural fullness and definition, while still looking airy and fluffy.
WHEN TO CHOOSE NANO BROWS
If you love a brow that is filled in yet still airy, nano brows is a great option for you. Nano brows is great to fill in brows, but not look overly done.
DO NANO BROWS LOOK NATURAL?
Nano brows are meant to look like your natural brows, but better. If you want a very natural brow, nano brows are typically best. If you have sparse or patchy areas within your brows, the most natural option will be combo brows.

WHO ARE POWDER BROWS GOOD FOR?
Powder brows are great for all skin types, including oily and mature skin. Powder brows are great for clients who already have a good shape but want more density.
WHEN TO CHOOSE POWDER BROWS?
Powder brows are perfect for clients who enjoy a more filled-in brow that still looks natural.
DO POWDER BROWS LOOK NATURAL?
Yes, especially for clients who already have thicker brow hairs, working beautifully to define brows while still looking natural.

COMBO / HYBRID BROWS
WHAT IS COMBO / HYBRID BROWS?
Combo brow blends nano hair strokes with powder shading to create the perfect balance between natural and defined. The hair strokes mimic real brow hairs at the front for a soft, feathered look, while shading adds density and depth throughout the rest of the brow for a fuller, more polished appearance. Other names for combo brows are fusion brows and nanoshading.
WHO IS THIS STYLE GOOD FOR?
Hybrid brows are great for clients who have sparse or patchy brows that need added density. This style is also a great pick for clients who like a more filled-in makeup look.
CAN A COMBO BROW LOOK NATURAL?
Yes! Combo brows are very customizable. I use different techniques, opacity, and patterns, combining hair strokes with shading to create a brow that fits your specific needs. Whether that’s adding density to over tweezed patches or creating a more filled in wake up and go look.

FAQs
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO BROWS TAKE TO COMPLETE?
HOW LONG DO BROWS LAST?
2 sessions are most typical, but some clients may need more sessions depending on your skin type, natural brows, and desired results.
Results typically last 2-4 years, making this a low-maintenance, long-lasting solution for effortlessly beautiful brows.
DO YOU OFFER MICROBLADING?
Yes, final results can fade 30-50%. If your first session fades more than you expected, don’t worry; we will reinforce any faded strokes and layer in more pigment and hair strokes to gradually build up the brows.
WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO REDO MY BROWS AFTER THE INITIAL SESSIONS?
ARE COSMETIC TATTOOS PERMANENT?
HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHEN ITS TIME FOR A REFRESHER?
2-4 years, but since it’s permanent makeup, you’ll still have residual pigment, but clients typically want a color boost after the 2 to 4 year mark.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A COSMETIC TATTOO ARTIST?
Yes. They are permanent, but they do fade. You’ll be ready for a refresher after 2+ years, but you’ll still have residual pigment.
As an artist, I like to let brows fade as much as possible before a refresher session after a few years to keep brows looking natural. We don’t want to oversaturate the brows with pigment, which can lead to muddy brows that look too bold or filled in. My goal is to keep your brows looking natural and fresh 10+ years down the line.
Yes, I do complimentary consults as 15-minute sessions, allowing you to ask any questions you have. I also offer text, call, and FaceTime consults. If you have previous work done, it is best to come in person for your consultation so I can if I can go over the work or if I suggest laser first.
Yes, before and during. Many of my clients fall asleep!
Yes, I do complimentary consults as 15 minute sessions allowing you to ask any questions you have. I also offer text, call, and facetime consults.
We decide together. I consider your skin tone along with your hair color and color theory to pick the best color for beautiful long term results.
Healing takes about 10-12 days. Brows may be sore for the first few days. The final result is visible after 6-8 weeks.
Yes, but the pigment needs to be faded enough for me to go over the work. I require consultations for anyone that has previous work done so I can help advice you the best steps to get you to your brow goals. If you have too much pigment still in your brows or we want to change the shape, I will suggest laser sessions to remove the pigment before you come in for your first sessions with me.

I have specialized in Microblading since starting permanent makeup in 2016. I started training with Nano brows, an advanced hairstroke technique that has slowly replaced microblading in my practice. I no longer offer Microblading, but if you love the hair stroke or “microblading” look, nano brows is the way to go. Its like the older sister of Microblading, there is more room for different styles and it is a more gentle and effective way to creating hairstroke brows. Nano brows are suitable for all skin types including oily and mature skin, making them a superior alternative to microblading for most clients.

Yes! Every brow I create is mapped per the client’s bone structure. I will pre-draw the hairstrokes, helping you visualize the end results. You will always approve the design and brow shape before we begin.
No, my goal, regardless of the style of brow we go with, is that every result looks natural and compliments your features. Once brows are healed, they are the perfect base if you want to create a more filled in look with makeup for a night out or event.
Of course! If you dont know what style is best for you, you can always reach out, book a complimentary consultation, or you can book the style you think is best and if we decide different during our consult, we can easily change styles.
