ABOUT THE ARTIST
I'm Dominique Beauclair. I started Beauclair Studio at 19, wanting to create a space where my clients feel safe and cared for. Where everyone feels welcome and relaxed. I’ve been lucky to build my dream business through my 20’s and now that I am 30, I feel lucky to have grown with my clients through the years. I thank every individual whose trusted me with their services. I’ve been fortunate to turn one of my life passions into a career, and I couldn’t be more thankful. My interest in beauty started at a very early age - I have that classic photo of me covered in makeup at a few years old, already seeing my future…
I always loved making others around me feel as beautiful on the outside as I thought they were on the inside, and that manifested into helping my friends with their makeup before school, doing my friends’ makeup for prom, and constantly practicing creative looks. I did Running Start for nursing and when I started college to continue nursing, I spent all my free time practicing makeup, watching YouTube tutorials, and spending any extra money I had on trending makeup. Safe to say nursing wasn’t my path and I started my journey into the world of esthetics. I loved how rewarding nursing felt helping others, so I knew I wanted a career where I was still helping others feel their best. I transitioned to esthetician school, and I got certified in makeup artistry and cosmetic tattooing. Click here to learn more about my cosmetic tattoo education and journey. After graduating, I opened up my business. I planned to work for someone else for a few years, but after graduating, I couldn’t find a business that offered all the services I was educated in. I wasn’t willing to lose that knowledge. This motivated me to push my plan of ownership forward a few years. I opened my own business in May of 2017, in a 100sq ft space in Bellevue. Over the years, I’ve had 6 different studios, and I’ve been lucky to have had so many clients trust me with their services. I’ve been blessed with the best clients, and it makes me look forward to work every day. I’ve settled into my best studio yet, transitioning my downstairs to a separate home studio space for my clients. It’s easy to find, has stress-free parking, and the space is quiet. You don’t have to worry about going in public for your appointment; feel comfortable wearing your cozy clothes — prepared to relax.

I would describe myself as an introverted extrovert. I love connecting with people on deep topics like others’ special interests, current events, astrology, spirituality, TV, books, etc. I spend my free time with my family and tending to my hobbies. My niece and nephew are a toddlers, so I soak up as much time with them as possible to not miss this phase. My mom is a local photographer, Beauclair Photography, and I do the makeup for her clients. We get to collaborate on creative projects, and it’s really special that life manifested the opportunity to
Some of my passions outside of beauty are interior design, vintage fashion, thrifting & antiquing, gardening, modeling, consuming TV and film, baking & cooking, and reading. Most of my home decor and furniture pieces are either family heirlooms or bought second-hand from local vintage businesses. At least 90% of my wardrobe is vintage fashion, and I can spend months looking for the perfect piece to add to my collection. I love natural fibers; some of my favorite things to buy are vintage furs and leather, and my addictions are boots and coats.
2026 was my first year gardening, so I spent a lot of my summer outside with my hands in the dirt, listening to audiobooks and music. At the end of the day, I love to relax with a cozy book or show and cuddle with my cats, Louis and Chanel. My favorite show is Friends. I’ve watched it over a dozen times, and it’s my go-to background noise while working on the computer. Some of my favorite genres are thrillers and fantasies. I spend a lot of time at Barnes & Noble and local bookstores trying to find my next good read or series.
I am gluten-free, so I love to cook and bake and test out different recipes to find the recipes that don’t make me miss gluten. I’m a major foodie, so I love to explore local cafes and restaurants to find the best gluten-free options in the city.
With having a physical job, I make sure to take care of my body, and I stay active by going to the gym as often as possible. I love to lift weights, and the gym has become a place where I can turn off my brain and release stress built up in my body.

WHERE IS BEAUCLAIR STUDIO LOCATED?
Beauclair Studio is located in my private home studio in Kirkland, Wa. The studio is separate from the living space and has a separate entrance. Beauclair Studio is located in Kirkland, WA, just minutes from Juanita Beach. Dominique serves clients from across the greater Seattle area, including Bellevue, Redmond, Bothell, Kenmore, and Seattle.

WHERE DO I PARK?
The ease of parking is one of the biggest perks to a home studio. Never worry about stressing to look for a parking space. Park on the street or in the driveway.

HOW DO I ENTER THE STUDIO?
The studio entrance is behind the house. You’ll see a Beauclair Studio Sign on the side of the garage. Walk past the garage into the backyard and use the walkway leading to the entrance, the sliding glass doors at ground level. You’re welcome to come in when you arrive!
WHATS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
All deposits are non-refundable. You can reschedule your appointment up to 48 hours before your appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are charged the full amount of the service.
DO YOU DO CONSULTATIONS?
Yes, I do complimentary consults as 15-minute sessions, allowing you to ask any questions you have. I also offer text, call, and FaceTime consults. If you have previous work done, it is best to come in person for your consultation so I can if I can go over the work or if I suggest laser first.
DO YOU OFFER SILENT SERVICES?
Yes, Many of my clients fall asleep, which is the biggest compliment to me that clients are comfortable enough to relax.
DO YOUR CATS COME INTO THE TREATMENT ROOM?
Only if you ask for cat therapy! Louis and Chanel are the friendliest cats and would love to meet you if you want to say hi, otherwise, they stay in the separate living space. I also make sure to clean and disinfect between clients to ensure the space is safe for anyone with cat allergies.

It is a possibility for the future, but currently all appointments are done at my private studio in Kirkland, Wa.
