Lip Blush Aftercare Tuturial

I’m a visual learner, so let me walk you through the steps to take care of your lips after your lip blush session. Watch the video below.

I will send you home with everything you need to take care of your lips. Saline wipes, soap, and aftercare balm.

Step One: After your lip blush session, every hour starting an hour after your service, take a provided saline wipe and gently tap it on your lips to remove any lymph that may build up. Do this until you run out of wipes or go to bed.

Step Two: Starting the night of your service, wash your lips morning and night for 7 days. Using clean fingers or a q-tip, use 1-2 drops of soap and massage lips for 20 seconds. Rinse clean and pat dry.

Step Three: Apply a pea-sized amount aftercare balm with clean fingers or q-tip to lips.

Wash and moisturize your lips morning and night for 7 days.

AVOID:

  • Spicy food - for 2-3 days following lip blush session

  • Smoking - 2-3 days following lip blush session

  • Lip Products on the tattoo — avoid for 7-10 days

  • Sun exposure and sunburn — avoid throughout healing

    For 2-3 weeks:

  • Pools, saunas, lakes, oceans, and hot tubs

  • Working out — avoid for 10–12 days

  • Facials and chemical peels — avoid for 4 weeks

  • Submerging the tattoo directly under water — avoid for 2 weeks

  • Botox — avoid for 3 weeks
