BROW LAMINATION FAQS
WHAT IS BROW LAMINATION?
Lamination allows you to brush your brows in place without gel creating a fuller looking brow.
CYSTEAMINE VS TGA SYSTEMS
Cysteamine and TGA (Thioglycolate) are the two primary active reducing agents used in lash lifts and brow laminations as the step 1 solution. It breaks down disulife bonds in hair keratin and allow hairs to be reshaped.
Cysteamine is the more gentle solution. Because of that, there is less risk of overprocessing, creating healthier results. If you’ve had a traditional lamination and felt like brows got dry and brittle, thats something you wont experience with a cysteamine based lamination. The results last 6-8 weeks just like a TGA lash lift. Cysteamine is also better for sensitive skin.
IS BROW LAMINATION GOOD FOR ALL BROW TYPES?
Yes, it works beautifully on all brow types from fine to coarse brow hairs, especially using cysteamine-based laminations.
CAN I COMBINE BROW LAMINATION WITH OTHER SERVICES?
Absolutely — and it's highly recommended. Pairing brow lamination, brow tint, and sugar hair removal gives you the ultimate full, defined, and naturally tinted brow with zero daily effort. You can also add a lash lift to the same appointment for a complete eye-opening treatment.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY BROW LAMINATION APPOINTMENT?
Stop chemical exfoliants at least 72 hours before the appointment
Avoid wax appointments a week prior to lamination. If you need hair removal, book sugar wax with your lamination session.
Do not dye your brows a week prior to your appointment. There can be a risk of the chemicals not reacting well together. If you want to tint your brows, add a brow tint to your lamination session.
